There is a depressing dearth of useful Zundapp KS601 information on the web. I've checked out
multitudes of initially promising sites and pretty much weeded it down to these few. I've kind
of listed them in order of my perception of their utility. On the bright side, there's a lot
more info out there then was available just five years ago.
It's difficult to find useful Zündapp KS 601 information on the web.
I have not necessarily dealt with all these people. The presence of a link here is not to be
interpreted as an endorsement but merely as passing along information.
It is your responsibility to determine the usefulness of these Zündapp KS 601 links.
If you find any of these links broken please let me
know.

Domi Racer, and their retail subsidiary Accessory Mart, are without question the premier
source for Zundapp KS601 parts in the USA. They may have the best stash of KS601 parts
and complete bikes in the world.
They have the biggest stash of Zündapp KS 601 parts.
The first thing you need to do is order all the past Accessory Mart vintage parts catalogs.
These are not successive updates but, rather, they act as a contiguous catalog with the items and
information of each new release complimenting those before it. You will certainly want the current
catalog, a copy of #2, which has Zundapp frame dimensions, and #4, featuring the KS601.
You'll want to get all the catalogs to find Zündapp KS 601 parts.
I hesitate to reveal the key to finding what you need from Accessory Mart, but I guess there are
few enough of us KS601 lovers that I'll do it; the price list. Catalogs are not updated very often
nor are they an exhaustive list of Domi's stock, but the price list is.
In the price list you will find row upon row of tiny little part numbers with a cryptic description.
Each part number is prefixed with a letter designation, ZN in the case of Zundapp. Domi also tries
to duplicate the OEM part numbers, so if you have a parts manual you can do a decent job of
deciphering what's there. Only a tiny fraction of Domi's stock is listed in the actual catalog. The
price list shows nearly everything, but you have to work for the information.
The secret to finding Zündapp KS 601 parts at Domi is the pricelist.

Ok. Torstein doesn't have a website but Torstein does have a shit load of Zundapp KS601 parts
and is the ever flowing font of info. He knows all there is to know about the breed and is
more than happy to share. He can give you very detailed info on your bike from the frame and
engine serial numbers.
Torstein knows everything about the Zündapp KS 601.
One of the best sources for KS601 parts and info on the North American continent and eager to
help. Send him an email and he'll send you his list of goodies with prices. Torstein deals only
in US Postal money orders and his prices are in US dollars, although he actually lives in
Vancouver Canada.
He is undoubtedly the best source of Zündapp KS 601 parts in North America.

Michael is based in the fatherland and as such is able to tap into what appears to be
a thriving repro market for the KS601. Apparently the bike is alive and well over in
Germany. He is particularly good at supplying excellent reproduction rubber parts.
Michael has a direct German connection to the Zündapp KS 601.
His English is quite good in emails. There are a few hurdles with German part names and he
prefers cash in Euro's which is a bit of a hassle, but you can muck along. Excellent resource.
Michael can communicate well in English regarding the Zündapp KS 601.

Wolfgang has an excellent website complete with an online catalog including a section
specific to the Zundapp KS601. Prices are in Euro's and the selection is quite extensive.
Also, his stock is continuously being updated, so check back often.
Never actually bought an Zündapp KS 601 stuff from Wolfgang.
Wofgang's English is very good and you will have no trouble communicating.
He appears very knowledgeable about the Zündapp KS 601 and willing to help.

According to the web site, AutoLit.com features the largest inventory of Original Automobile
Literature in the world. They also do pretty good on motorcycle stuff, running the range from
original sales brochures, owner's manuals, parts microfiche and manuals, maintenance manuals,
magazine ads and articles, you name it. If it was printed and pertains to vehicles, Walter will
have it.
Walter should be familiar to you for more than just Zündapp KS 601 related information.

This is a cool site. Lots of motorcycle info, but you'll just want to look around too. For
Zundapp KS601 stuff you want to go to bike links. Overlander Equipment makes aftermarket
exhausts for the KS601.
Zündapp KS 601 exhausts can be pretty expensive.
I have found Aussies to be extremely pleasant to deal with. Mail is very reliable, there's
no language problem, and the exchange rate is quite favorable.
I've bought Zündapp KS 601 literature from Australia, but no parts.

Daniel's website is pretty much devoted to pictures of a couple of his Zundapp KS601's, but
beyond that he possesses a wealth of info and has many devoted contacts among the still sparse
lovers of the Zundapp KS601. You'll see him in forums all over the web as ZundappMan.
Daniel has a great deal of history with the Zündapp KS 601.

This is a very informative site although, once again and as usual, not heavily oriented toward
the Zundapp KS601. It does have a lot of interesting links, including pictures of the founder
of Zundapp-Werke, Dr. Hc. Fritz Neumeyer, and a bunch of other disturbingly strange looking
dudes who served as director at one time or another.
One would prefer these guys were not related to the Zündapp KS 601.
Be sure to click on his
Interessant Links Has a number of potential parts sources. The language is Dutch and the
focus is blurry as regards Zundapp KS601, but you glean info and parts where you can. This
looks like a pretty decent source.
As is so often the case with the Zündapp KS 601, you're going to need some dutch.

This is not a particularly informative site, but it's got a lot of cool pictures of Zundapp
motorcycles. Unfortunately there are no KS601's, but oh well. Actually, this site has lots
(lots) of cool pictures of just about every older vehicle ever manufactured as far as I can
tell. Andrei has done an incredible job of gathering and posting a shit load of images.
He put a lot of work into his site even though it has no Zündapp KS 601's.
Be warned there is a political message on the home page that may offend a few Americans, but
maybe seeing there are people who genuinely disagree with our government's imperial aspirations
will be a wake up call for some folks who can use it. Before you react, read the message at the
bottom of the home page. No, Toto, we're not watching Fox News anymore.
I emailed about the Zündapp KS 601 & his political views. Emailed back. A nice guy.

"A social club for the enjoyment of motorcycle enthusiasts around the World"
Well, for the Zündapp KS 601 anyhow.
The claim is a bit broad since they are specifically oriented toward Zundapp, although
not necessarily the Zundapp KS 601. Still, here you will find pretty much the premier web
presence of English speaking Zundapp lovers. Unfortunately, this isn't saying much in
absolute terms.
Perhaps the most useful feature on the site is the forum. A number of threads relevant to repairs
and part sources. While the site covers the entire range of Zundapp bikes and scooters there's
lots of good info on the Zundapp KS601. Check it out, and join the club. The more the merrier.

This is a very nicely put together site. It has a lot of Zundapp info and pictures, although
it covers the whole range of Zundapp's offerings and there is not particularly much specific
to the Zundapp KS601. Also, all in Dutch.
These Dutch dudes sure love the Zündapp KS 601.
The site provides what amounts to a virtual tour of a fabulous museum in the Netherlands,
displaying a range of Zundapp bikes. There is also a section where Zundapp related items are
for sale. My experience is that if you can overcome the language barrier, and most often it
seems you can, then the Euro makes transactions fairly simple. I'm just saying don't let
Dutch stop you. Much good info. Well worth a click.

As with so many sites that provide useful info on the Zundapp KS601, you're going to
have to brush off your Deutsch for this one. Still, lots of interesting pictures, forums you
can decipher good information from, parts for sale, even the occasional bike located stateside.
Focus appears primarily on the KS750, worth dropping in.
You don't suppose I'm using the term Zündapp KS 601 too much, do you?
You'll find you can't let the language barrier or the ocean stop you if you're going to get

do have a very nicely put together website with a fair amount of information, including
a forum and lots of pictures. Unfortunately it is nearly exclusively in Swedish so its
usefulness is somewhat limited here in the US.
Hey. They're Swedes, and they love the Zündapp KS 601. There included. Right?
